Passed intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a government recognized polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or in intermediate / matriculation if English is not a subject in diploma. List of eligible diploma course are available on website www.airmenselection.cdac.in

Note – 1: Education boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, shall only be permitted.

Note – 2: Exact aggregate percentage (%) of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/intermediate/equivalent OR calculated as per the rules of concerned education board shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49 % and not to be rounded off to 50%).

Age Limit:

Candidates born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the recruitment rally. Go through IAF Bihar official Notification 2020 for more reference

How to apply for IAF Bihar Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Technical trades) except education instructor trade Post:

Pre-Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 27 September 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 28 September 2020 on webportal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. In view of COVID-19 restrictions and consequent testing constrains, limited candidates can be tested. In case of over subscription, shortlisted candidates based on merit [Percentage (%) marks obtained in Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination/Diploma course (as applicable)] would be issued provisional admit cards. Only candidates issued with provisional admit cards are allowed to appear in recruitment rally.

The recruitment test shall be conducted as per the details given below. Candidates from the State of Bihar fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions are to report as per the date and time mentioned in provisional admit card at the rally venue.

Note: The Recruitment Test is not for selection as Commissioned Officers, Pilots and Navigators.

The Provisional Select List (PSL) will be displayed at 10 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Bihta, Patna (Bihar), PIN – 801103 on 31 October 2020 Copies of the display list will also be sent to District Collector of Patna, Bihar (through Airmen Selection Centre) and will also be available at Central Airmen Selection Board webportal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. The inclusion of names of the candidates in the PSL depends upon the performance of the candidates in the rally. Inclusion of name in the PSL does not guarantee automatic enrolment. Enrolment is strictly in order of merit from the PSL subject to medical fitness, availability of vacancies, not exceeding the age of 21 years on date of enrolment and meeting other laid down eligibility criteria as and when called for enrolment. The validity of PSL shall be 06 months from the date of display and shall be applicable only for Intake No. 01/2021.
